Sponsor a Dog!

Become a Rescue Angel and sponsor one of our special shelter dogs!
We are in the process of applying with IRS for our 501(c)(3) status.
We can provide a tax receipt for any donation upon request. We are a non-profit incorportated, all volunteer organization. No one is paid a salary to foster or transport or process applications. It costs money to rescue a dog and we can use all the help we can get!

We know a lot of people love our dogs so much but can’t adopt right now. Now you can help us to help them by sponsoring one of those waiting to be adopted.

Many of our rescued pets need special care, such as heartworm or other extensive medical treatment, or need extra time and TLC to recover from severe neglect or abuse. Others don't seem to sell themselves well at adoption events - even the sweetest pets can go unnoticed by potential adopters, simply because they are shy or too "average" looking. Or maybe you have fallen in love with a dog that you saw on our web site or at one of our Mingles or other adoption events, but you are unable to adopt or foster right now.

For all of these reasons, we have created the Rescue Angel Sponsor Program, which allows you to donate on behalf of a specific dog at Lost and Found Dog Rescue.

How does it work?
You can sponsor an older or needier long term foster that has touched your heart with a special one time, monthly or yearly donation. Your name will then appear as sponsor under that dog’s picture and bio, and you will be listed on our Rescue Angels page. With your sponsorship you can become a part of healing a sick or injured animal and if adopted you can know just how wonderful it feels to know you have helped.

Please don't hesitate to be a second sponsor if a dog already has one sponsor. Many of these guys have so many medical needs that they need all the extra help we can get from loving caring people like you!

When you sponsored dog gets adopted you will be able to choose a new "shelter kid" to continue your sponsorship.
