| Thank you for your interest in one of our rescue babies. Our goal is to make a perfect match for our rescued dogs/cats and your family. Adoption Process Once we receive your application we will begin to call references. Once all references are checked we will notify you as to whether or not your application has been approved. If your application is approved, we will schedule a time for you to meet your potential new family member and a time for one of our volunteers to conduct a home visit. Because we do want our dogs/cats to go to the right, forever home, it is not always guaranteed that you will be approved for the pet that you have applied for. In this case, we will work with you so that the right match for everyone involved is made. Fees There is a minimum $275 adoption donation for our dogs. This fee only covers part of what we will spend to care for the dogs that we rescue. All of our rescued dogs will receive atleast the following vet care: Initial Exam Current Vaccinations including Rabies Heartworm/Lyme test Spay/Neuter Microchip Begin Heartworm and Flea and Tick Preventatives There is a minimum $85 adoption donation for our cats. All of our rescued cats will receive atleast the following vet care: Initial Exam Current Vaccinations including Rabies Felv/FIV test Spay/Neuter Microchip Please also keep in mind that we have to pay for food, crates, blankets, beds, toys, grooming supplies, and anything else that our rescue dogs and cats could possibly need. Also, some of them will need more than just the routine vetting that is done. We would greatly appreciate any additional contribution you could make at the time of the adoption or in the future. |
